When it comes right down to it, Pete + Lucy is a wholesaler of children’s clothing. There are no contracts, no fees, and no employer/employee relationship. We offer our clothing to help you have your own business that you have complete control over

Absolutely! We are just a wholesaler providing you with the products you need to sell in your business. Your business’s structure is completely up to you!

We do not because our items constantly change and can not be ordered by design. We do, however, have a gallery on our website where we will post samples from new collections as we receive them.

Our clothing is designed by us and won’t be found in any other boutique. We source the softest, highest-quality fabrics we can find to make our line not only adorable but comfy as well. Our sizing was developed just for our company and designed to be age appropriate with room to grow. The best part of our clothing is how each item from our core line is made in limited runs, making it a high-demand line among your customer base!

We no longer offer samples to purchase, but we highly encourage you to visit our Find a Retailer page and select a Retailer near you to make a purchase to evaluate for quality.

We have very few guidelines for the sale of our clothing. You are free to sell anywhere in your community within a 60 mile radius, including existing boutiques, vendor fairs, pop up shops and home parties. You are also free to sell online, including your own website, Ebay, Amazon, etc. We do ask if you attend an event in another Retailer’s city that you do reach out to them first, and they will do the same for you. Our number one rule is kindness and respect always!

There are a variety of inventory management solutions, from simple spreadsheets to more detailed web based tools. The Boutique Blueprint will offer suggestions if you are unsure of which option to use.

We have a joint venture with The Boutique Blueprint, a marketing company that provides education to boutique owners. Founded by the owner of a multimillion dollar children’s boutique, The Boutique Blueprint offers a start up guide that will help you learn the nuts and bolts of creating and managing a boutique. Access to the website and educational materials is complimentary for all Pete + Lucy Retailers!

Our items wholesale to you range from $11-$15, and their suggested retail price is $22-$30. You are free to create your own pricing structure as long as it meets our minimum advertised price (MAP) of at least 40% over current wholesale for current seasons and 20% over current wholesale for past seasons.

Yes, the opening bundle must be paid for up front, but we do offer a payment plan option with Sezzle.

To be an active Retailer, we require that you spend at least $175 per calendar month in inventory. This will equate to roughly 13 outfits and begins the first calendar month following your Opening Bundle purchase. We do offer one waiver per year for our Retailers that you can use at your discretion.

Using our MSRP guidelines, a Retailer can earn 100% profit on each of our items. That said, as a wholesaler, we are not privy to the financial data of our Retailers. Each Retailer is in control of their own business and pricing. Each Retailer’s business is unique and their earning potential is dependent on many personal choices. We do not guarantee anyone will earn a specific amount.

We are a wholesaler, meaning you purchase your inventory from us at wholesale prices, then you sell it to your customers at retail prices. Once you make a sale, you take the full amount of the purchase for yourself. There are no payments coming from us to you.

No! We are essentially a wholesaler, so the only thing you are paying for are the clothes you purchase.  

After you purchase your Starter Kit, you are eligible to purchase our weekly New Releases. This is where you can purchase exactly what you want for your shop :) These are in stock , ready to ship!

In addition to our weekly in stock releases, we also offer weekly preorders. These items are typically items outside of our core line, like sibling sets, boy collections, mommy & me styles, holidays, and anything else that may be a little different from what we typically offer. We generally have boy options 2-3 times per month, so lots of opportunity to get the little one styled as well! Preorders are a great opportunity to get orders from your customers and order exactly what you need for them!

Shipping times may vary, and we will note them in each item’s description to be seen prior to purchase. Most in stock items are typically shipped in 3-5 business days.

You will have 7 days from the receipt of your merchandise to notify us of any defects. We will gladly replace those free of charge. Beyond that, we do not offer refunds or exchanges.
